Attention those who own these models! The German automaker is recalling 223,000 vehicles!

According to a list by Germany's Federal Motor Vehicles Authority (KBA), Mercedes-Benz will recall 223,000 vehicles, 60,246 of which are in Germany. The vehicles in question are Viano and Vito van models manufactured between December 2002 and February 2006.

It was announced in the German press that in these vehicles, "in an accident where the airbag is deployed, the gas generator could explode" and in this case the airbag would no longer provide safety.

There is also a risk of injury to passengers due to gas generator parts breaking off.
