3 men injured in early morning shooting in north London

London police are investigating after three men were hospitalized with gunshot wounds following an early morning shooting on Sunday.
Emergency crews were called to the 700-block of Adelaide Street North around 5:45 a.m., after reports a man had been shot. Officers arrived to find one man with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
A short time later, police were notified that two more men had arrived separately at hospital with gunshot wounds. One man is in critical condition, while the other has serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say all three men — two from London and one from Oshawa — were injured in the same incident, believed to have taken place near Adelaide Street North and Piccadilly Street. The identities of the victims have not been released.
Investigators say a person or people fled the scene in a vehicle, which was later pursued by officers to the area of Boullee and Cheapside streets. The suspect vehicle was recovered but found empty. Police searched the area but did not locate any suspects.

Members of the London Police Service’s Major Crime Section have taken over the investigation.
Officers are asking anyone who may have seen anything unusual or have dash-cam or security video between 5:20 and 6:30 a.m. in the areas of Adelaide and Piccadilly or Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact London police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tips can also be submitted online through London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
