Addison Rae Leans into 2010s Millennial Style on Stage with Lana Del Rey
Addison Rae is carving out her place in pop culture. From a TikToker-turned-pop-star, Rae is climbing the ladder toward stardom with her music, her friendships with Charli XCX and Lana Del Rey, and her style.
Rae's fashion over the last few years is reminiscent of the early 2000s and 2010s when millennial fashion was focused on ballet flats, low-rise jeans, round-toe pumps, side parts, and more. One of the most core parts of the 2010s was when it was customary for women to wear business casual attire out on the town — with blazers and peplum shirts galore. The “Diet Pepsi" singer seems to be keen on that aesthetic, as she fully leaned into it this week.
Rae joined Lana Del Rey on stage at Wembley Stadium in London on July 3 as part of the latter's U.K. and Ireland stops on tour. The duo surprised the audience by singing Rae's song “Diet Pepsi” together, along with an unreleased Del Rey track called “57.5.” Rae wore a navy blue dress that hung down to her mid-thigh and was embellished with white lace on the sleeves. She paired the dress with red Louboutin heels and wore her blonde hair straight down.
