Transfer Deadline Day LIVE: Alexander Isak heads to £125m Liverpool medical, Gianluigi Donnarumma to Man City is ON as Ederson exits... plus Reds want £50MILLION for Harvey Elliott

Marseille are closing on agreement with West Ham for wantaway defender Nayef Aguerd.
The French side are also talking to Brighton over a loan deal for Matt O'Riley, allowing the midfielder to link-up with his former boss Roberto de Zerbi.
Remember, the French side already have Mason Greenwood, Neal Maupay, Ange Gomes, CJ Egan-Riley, Hamed Trarore, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in their ranks, not to mention De Zerbi leading the side.

And who can blame them as they close in on the signing of the highest-scoring striker in the Premier League last season.
Alexander Isak is a phenomenal talent and his arrival is set to add to a forward line that already includes the likes of Mohamed Salah, Florian Wirtz, Cody Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike, who already looks like a brilliant addition after just four games.
Isak scored 62 goals in 109 games for Newcastle, including a strike in their Carabao Cup final victory over Liverpool in February.
In fact, the Swedish striker has scored four times in six games against the Reds so the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Co will be glad to have him on their side for once.

No official bids yet for Harvey Elliott at Liverpool, I am told, but there is still a strong possibility he leaves today if a club puts a good offer on the table.
RB Leipzig have made several approaches but it is understood they are a bit short of the Reds’ £50million asking price at this stage. One to watch, though…

Forest will focus mainly on outgoings today, with Jota Silva, Zach Abbott and Taiwo Awoniyi among those expected to leave.
Forest have asked for at least €15m from Sporting for Jota (watch this space on that), Abbott has loan interest from the Championship and Awoniyi - who is now fourth-choice striker - could return to the Bundesliga.

Sunderland have made a move for Ajax striker Brian Brobbey after agreeing to let Chelsea recall Marc Guiu.
Ajax want £21m for the Netherlands international and have rejected an offer to take him on loan from Fulham.
Sunderland also want a centre back as talks for Bologna's Jhon Lucumi stall.

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is in talks with AC Milan over a £13m move to the Italian giants.
The Premier League champions may sanction a move if and when they land Marc Guehi.
And Daily Mail Sport spoke to Virgil van Dijk on this last night who said: ‘He’s a good friend of mine, I care about him, so I was pleased for him that he could do it today, and maybe a lot more this season
‘Of course (I want him to stay), he’s my friend! But it doesn’t work like that. I’m not the boss, this is not a friendly business. Let’s see what happens
'Of course I want him to stay, as a friend and as a player.’

In what is one of the biggest deadline days in years, there are still so many big moves that could conclude before the window slams shut.
As ever, we'll keep you across all clubs and make sure you're informed as soon as we are.
Here are a few transfers to keep an eye out for today:
Alexander Isak from Newcastle to Liverpool
Yoane Wissa from Brentford to Newcastle
Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace to Liverpool
Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa to Man United
Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton to Chelsea
Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen to Arsenal
Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG to Man City

A busy morning already for Manchester City, who have plenty of business to do today.
They have principally agreed a fee of around £12million with Fenerbahce for the sale of Ederson. The Brazilian goalkeeper is set to leave the Etihad Stadium after eight glittering years - if a move for Gianluigi Donnarumma can be concluded with PSG.
City will only sanction Ederson's departure once Donnarumma signs, although the likelihood of that is increasing.

Liverpool are not done with Isak, either, with Daily Mail Sport told last night they are also closing in on signing Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.
A deal is not done yet but sources say it is very close for around £35m plus £5m in add-ons.

It's the move that is edging closer!
After a tumultuous saga throughout the summer, Alexander Isak is now on his way to Liverpool to undergo his medical.
We expect that one to be finalised later today and the Reds will be adding to an already fearsome front-line.
Isak has got the move he always wanted.

CRAIG HOPE, CHIEF FOOTBALL REPORTER:
Newcastle resume search for second striker today.
As of this morning, Yoane Wissa is more possible than Jorgen Strand-Larsen, who has been told by Wolves he will not be sold. Sources say he has accepted that stance. NUFC negotiating on fee with Brentford, but work to do.

It looks like one of the most fascinating transfer sagas of recent years is finally coming to an end - and Liverpool have got their man.
Reports overnight confirmed that the Reds have agreed a £125m deal to bring the Swedish striker to Anfield.
Isak looks set to sign a six-year deal for Arne Slot's side this morning after the deal was sanctioned by the Newcastle ownership.
...and welcome to Daily Mail Sport's coverage of what promises to be another exhilarating transfer deadline day!
We'll have all the news and updates right as they come in as clubs look to get their last-minute buisness over the line before the window slams shut at 7pm tonight.
