Victor Osimhen drops fresh transfer hint as Arsenal made aware of potential issue

Victor Osimhen admits his future remains up in the air after Arsenal were urged to sign him.
The Nigerian has been one of the most sought-after strikers in world football over recent seasons. Chelsea were seriously interested last summer but failed to get a deal done for the Napoli star, leading to a shock loan move to Turkish side Galatasaray.
Osimhen has just a matter of months left on that deal, which would see his future under the microscope once more amid reported interest from Arsenal and Manchester United. Speaking recently, the striker has suggested that he is still clueless where he could be next season.
“To be honest I don’t know,” Osimhen said. “You know the last few months, nobody ever thought I would come here, I never believed I would come to Galatasaray despite how big they are.
“I live for the moment. I don’t know what will happen in the summer, but I want everybody to understand that I really love this club.
“I love the fans, I love the President, I love everyone associated with the club. It’s really a big deal to be here and I’m really enjoying my time here.”
Osimhen has continued his stunning form during his time in Istanbul. The 26-year-old has 20 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions this term, form that has seen Arsenal urged to make a move.
Alan Shearer believes that the forward would be an excellent signing for the Gunners, albeit has a worry over the price that they could be forced to pay. Speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, he said: "Victor Osimhen is there isn't he. He without a doubt would score goals for them.

“The problem they've got now is the whole world knows they need a forward. So a player who might have cost £60-70m is now going to be worth £100-110m when Arsenal come in.
"They're going to have to pay over the odds and perhaps that was there issues last summer and in January, maybe they refused to pay over the top for someone. They need a top-class centre forward, they did before a ball was kicked this season and my opinion hasn't changed."
And while Shearer believes Osimhen would be a good candidate for Arsenal’s striking vacancy, his colleague Gary Lineker has another idea. He has urged the North London side to make a move for Ipswich forward Liam Delap.
