Spark encounters 3,712 ppm lithium at Cruzeta and 118 ppm at Água Branca and advances drill planning in Brazil's Lithium Valley

VANCOUVER, BC / June 20, 2025 / IRW-Press / Spark Energy Minerals Inc. ("Spark" or the "Company") (CSE: SPRK) (OTC: SPARF) (FWB: 8PC) is pleased to provide an update on ongoing exploration work at its flagship Arapaima project in Brazil's Lithium Valley.
Positive assay results from 16 rock chip and 46 stream sediment samples recently received from SGS Laboratories in Belo Horizonte reinforce Spark Energy's focus on advancing its three priority lithium targets—Cruzeta, Água Branca, and Grota do Maquém—toward diamond core drilling in the third quarter of 2025. The company is also advancing its emerging REE target at Caladão.

"These results further confirm the strong lithium potential of our Arapaima project," commented Eugene Hodgson, CEO of Spark. "The 3,712 ppm lithium in-rock result at Cruzeta is our highest to date and is supported by key indicator elements indicating developed LCT pegmatites. The 118 ppm lithium we detected in stream sediments at Água Branca underscores the district-wide opportunities.
With diamond core drilling planned for Q3 2025, we are accelerating the refinement of targets. Brazil's Lithium Valley is rapidly becoming a globally significant critical minerals area, and Spark is well positioned to be at the forefront of this discovery phase."
Rock chip results from the Cruzeta target
Spark Energy reports encouraging results for 16 reconnaissance rock chip samples collected from pegmatite outcrops at the newly identified Cruzeta target, which returned highly anomalous lithium values (peaking at 3,712 ppm lithium). This is the highest single lithium value from a rock chip sample reported since the initiation of the field program in November 2024. Readers are cautioned that the rock chip samples are selective in nature and may not reflect the true grade or extent of mineralization on the property.
The pegmatites at Cruzeta also exhibit highly anomalous values of tin (peak of 372 ppm Sn), niobium (peak of 559 ppm Nb), tantalum (peak of 87 ppm Ta), gallium (peak of 158 ppm Ga), scandium (peak of 83 ppm Sc), cesium (peak of 267 ppm Cs), and beryllium (peak of 8 ppm Be). Importantly, the samples have a potassium/rubidium (K/Rb) ratio of only 13, indicating highly developed LCT pegmatites typically associated with lithium prospectivity.*
*The K/Rb ratio is an established geochemical indicator used to identify and prioritize fractionated pegmatites with high lithium potential. Ratios below 150 are considered particularly favorable.

Target Água Branca - River sediment sampling results
Stream sediment results from the priority Água Branca target continue to be encouraging, with a peak grade of 118 ppm lithium in a sub-basin. This result is consistent with previously reported anomalous grades and underscores the overall prospectivity of the area (see NI 43-101 compliant technical report at https://www.sedarplus.ca/).
Readers are cautioned that the stream sediment sampling results are preliminary and part of an early-stage exploration program. These results do not constitute conclusive evidence of the likelihood of a mineral deposit, nor do they guarantee future discoveries.

All samples were submitted for analysis to the SGS Geosol Laboratories facility in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The samples were prepared and analyzed using the ICP-MS method after melting with lithium borate. Typical sample weights ranged from 0.5 to 1.0 kg. SGS is an independent, ISO/IEC 17025-certified laboratory with no known affiliation with Spark Energy Minerals.
Progress towards diamond core drilling in the third quarter
Spark's geological team is currently focused on the detailed mapping and sampling required to refine diamond core drilling targets within the three priority target areas currently in the Company's portfolio.
Granting of options
Spark Energy Minerals is also pleased to announce that it has granted a total of 500,000 stock options (the "Options") to certain officers and consultants of the Company. The grant includes 300,000 Options to insiders of the Company. Each Option is exercisable to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $0.10 for a period of two years from the date of issuance.
