Sponsored Jungle.- With the reveal of Mexico's mascot for the 2026 World Cup, the Femexfut had no choice but to acknowledge that the Chiapas Jaguars will return to the top circuit.

As soon as the official mascots of the host countries were unveiled, the Mexican Football Federation took the opportunity to make an unexpected announcement: the triumphant return of the Chiapas Jaguars to the First Division.

The Jaguars rose suddenly

" We wanted to keep it a secret until the World Cup, but FIFA got there first, and yes, the Jaguares are back," said the organization's president, still without confirming whether San Luis or Puebla will be the club sacrificed for this sudden promotion.

The decision was made after seeing the enthusiasm of fans, who immediately associated the mascot with that team that once had a stadium, uniform, and even players who now sell insurance.

It is not ruled out that, for official World Cup events, Jackson Martínez or Salvador Cabañas himself will wear the Jaguar mascot while dancing to entertain the fans who paid 15,000 pesos to watch Jordan vs. Paraguay.

For its part, FIFA clarified that Mexico's mascot had no connection to the Jaguares, but Femexfut was so excited that it decided to register the club without asking. They even confirmed that, initially, Mexico wanted the mascot to be an axolotl… but it didn't look intimidating enough to face Mbappé.

And in case you missed it: an Argentine channel was broadcasting Trump's UN speech, and they ran commercials because they didn't pay for YouTube Premium.
