Throw them out: Trump threatens to take World Cup matches away from Democratic cities

Trumpland.- Donald Trump announced that he will seek to take World Cup matches away from some Democratic-run American cities, and well, let's see if we get some of those games.

" If we believe any city might be even slightly dangerous for the World Cup, given that it's being played in so many venues, we won't allow it. We'll move things around a bit. But I hope it won't be necessary ," the American president assured a few hours ago.

A strange World Cup is coming

The threat is especially directed at cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle (it's Seatol , not Siadol , since it even has two "t's"), "blue" cities that have historically rejected all of Trump's policies.

Let's remember that the next World Cup will be held in the United States, co-hosted by Mexico and Canada, and that it has 11 venues. Some of them could lose matches because, according to Trump, " they're run by radical leftist lunatics who don't know what they're doing."

The 2026 World Cup draw will be held on December 5 in Washington, with the tycoon expected to attend. So, if he carries out his threat, the "legal" draw, where the guests choose the hot ball to form the groups, could be affected.
