Diaphanum hires a top manager for all its operations at Banco Santander

New hiring moves in the financial sector. Diaphanum has hired its new director of efficiency, Carolina Mondéjar Navarro , at Banco Santander, to fill the newly created position after a decade at the bank chaired by Ana Botín.

Carolina Mondéjar, who will report directly to the company's president, Rafael Gascó Sales, will be responsible for developing the company's entire operational ecosystem and information flows , with the goal of improving transactional processes and its technological structure. This cross-functional position will coordinate all of the company's departments with the goal of streamlining all areas and leveraging all of the company's talent.

In this way, Diaphanum continues working to develop technological solutions that allow it to improve internal operations and customer service , such as Omnia, a transactional and reporting technological platform, both internal and external for clients, developed entirely in-house, which the entity launched in 2024, which represents an evolution of the disruptive technological proposal with which the company was born in 2017.

Carolina Mondéjar, who has extensive professional experience in the financial sector, has spent her entire career at Banco Santander, holding the position of Head of Middle and Back Office for Santander Private Banking before leaving. She holds a degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Ávila, a Master's degree in Technology (MTech), Information Systems Analysis and Big Data, and an MBA in Business Administration and Management. Throughout her career, she has acquired knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Qlikview/Qliksense, Power BI, and programming in SQL and Python.

Rafael Gascó Sales, president of Diaphanum, stated that "Carolina's addition to optimize the entire company, combined with the ability to manage the in-house development of our OMNIA technology platform, gives us the opportunity to improve transactions and take a new leap in quality in efficiency and operational effectiveness in the quality service we offer our clients. Currently, the Diaphanum team exceeds one hundred professionals , half of whom are asset managers, across offices in Madrid, Bilbao, Barcelona, ​​Alicante, Burgos, Murcia, Vigo, Cáceres, and Miami.
