MEXICO CITY.— This Wednesday, the US currency started the day with losses, being offered in international markets at 18.5707 pesos per dollar wholesale , according to the financial platform Investing .

At the start of trading in the foreign exchange market , the dollar fell 0.16%, or 0.0293 units.

The dollar closed Tuesday at 18.6 pesos per dollar and opened today at 18.605 pesos per dollar, representing an annual change of 3.4%.

This Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the price of the dollar in Mexico opened the retail day with a maximum selling price of 19.685 pesos per dollar .

According to information from various banking institutions, at the opening, the US dollar is selling for up to 19.685 pesos at Bank of America branches, while the maximum purchase price is 18.06 pesos at Banamex bank tellers.

Below is the list of retail prices, for purchase and sale, at bank branches:

At purchase, the lowest price is 17.35 pesos per dollar offered by Banco Azteca and Banorte, and the highest is 18.06 pesos per dollar offered by Banco Banamex.

For sale, the lowest price is 18.84 pesos per dollar offered at BBVA bank branches and the highest is 19.685 pesos per dollar offered by Bank of America.— (With information from: eldolar.info ).

For its part, the Bank of Mexico announced the exchange rate for debt payments denominated in US dollars, payable in Mexico, which it set at 18.7140 pesos per dollar.

Meanwhile, the 48-hour interbank rate was set at 18.5943.

According to The Economy Forecast Agency, yesterday, the dollar's exchange rate registered a variation of -0.14% compared to the previous day.

For Thursday, July 10, 2025, the agency sets a maximum purchase price of 18.265 pesos per dollar, while its sales forecast is up to 18.821 pesos per dollar.
