The 3rd edition of MF Talent: AI and cybersecurity for a sustainable future based on talent and innovation

MF Talent, a HeadHunter and Cybersecurity Services company specializing in IT profiles, brought together more than 65 leaders from the main IBEX companies on May 22nd from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the La Borda del Mentidero restaurant in Madrid, including presidents, general managers, CEOs and CIOS in an exclusive event to address a sustainable future and the impact that AI and Cybersecurity have on this cause.
The event's objective was to hold a roundtable discussion with a panel of experts on how AI contributes to safer sustainability. Participants included technology leaders Jaime de Jaraíz, president of LG Electronics Spain; José María Galofré, CEO of VOLVO; and Sara Aranda, Director General of Urban Planning at the Ministry of the Environment, Agriculture, and the Interior.
Mercedes Fernández, CEO of MF Talent, gave an introduction to the event's theme and how MF Talent has adapted to the market's talent needs in cybersecurity and AI, as well as its success in the sector by firmly believing in people as a company's main asset and linking them to technology for any transformation process.
MF Talent's goal is to replicate and duplicate its cybersecurity services and diversify its business in terms of personal branding, advisory boards, and executive recruitment.
The day began with a photocall attended by some of the award winners and various well-known faces who attended the event, such as Carla Pereyra, Carlos Franganillo, Alfredo Urdaci, David Otero, Arantxa de Benito, Pepa Romero, Marc Vidal and Carlos Moro, President of Bodegas Matarromera .
The event was hosted by Ana Belén Roy and Antonio Santana , along with Mercedes Fernández , CEO of MF Talent, as presenters. During the day, 18 awards were presented to various leaders and relevant individuals in attendance. Among them was Arantxa de Benito, who presented an award to the non-profit Atlético de Madrid Foundation. The award was collected by Carla Pereyra, the ambassador. She thanked the organization for uniting so many companies from different sectors that share a common goal of commitment to humanity, whether through sustainability or technology, and encouraged them to continue the foundation's work.
The awards ceremony also featured the participation of awardees from various business sectors, including José Cumbrado, Director of Innovation at Mapfre Spain, who collected the award for the organization that stands out for its innovative R&D&I projects; Alejandro Las Heras, CEO of the Cybersecurity Agency of the Community of Madrid, for his contribution to cybersecurity and promoting cyber resilience; and Roberto Martínez, General Manager of GLS, among others. The latter proudly received the award on behalf of the company for the creation of the Diversity Department and its involvement in the labor inclusion of people with disabilities, and explained the various operations carried out by this department.
Also present were renowned journalist Alfredo Urdaci, who interviewed economic analyst and technology communicator Marc Vidal, and Fidel Alonso, who interviewed David Otero, singer and former member of the group El Canto del Loco. Following the interview, Otero was recognized for his career and musical talent with an award at the closing ceremony.
During the interview, Marc Vidal emphasized the concern about how the future of humanity will look if artificial intelligence is introduced without control, and he emphasized the need to increase awareness and combat misinformation.
The event also featured a surprising performance by Anthony Blake , who left no one indifferent and amazed everyone in attendance. He performed a series of magic tricks that engaged the audience. The event was closed by Mercedes Fernández, CEO of MF Talent, and concluded with a cocktail party where different points of view and opinions were shared.
