Laura Alonso's harsh take on Manuel Adorni: "He doesn't understand anything, he's a PlayStation character."

Laura Alonso's harsh take on Manuel Adorni: "He doesn't understand anything, he's a PlayStation character."

Jorge Macri 's government spokesperson, Laura Alonso, criticized Manuel Adorni , the candidate for the La Libertad Avanza ( LLA ) party, for not having presented any proposals during his campaign and instead simply pigeonholing himself behind President Javier Milei. In response, the PRO leader came out in defense of Silvia Lospennato , the leader of the yellow party's list.

" Adorni doesn't understand anything; he's a PlayStation character ," the official stated in a statement to FM Millenium. She also rejected the Libertarians' idea of transferring the government's budget cuts to the City of Buenos Aires at the national level: "Adorni didn't bring a single project for the City. If his project is the chainsaw , the City will say no. Not just the PRO, but the people of Buenos Aires as well," she stated.

Furthermore, Laura Alonso recalled that the impossibility of achieving an alliance with the Libertarians had to do with the influence of the President's sister in the electoral construction, something that former President Mauricio Macri also raised: " We have to ask Karina Milei , who is the organizer of La Libertad Avanza," she suggested.

On the other hand, Laura Alonso took aim at the PRO's opponents, including Leandro Santoro and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, among others. " Santoro is a Kirchnerist and he endorsed the existence of street vendors . He's a softie," the City Government spokesperson asserted.

He also placed Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, former mayor of Buenos Aires, in this same group: "The City of Buenos Aires doesn't want any soft touches. (Larreta) was soft on security, he's already proven it. This city needs more police; it's a city that needs more security," he added, adding that the party had discussed "Larreta's soft touch " on more than one occasion.

"That changed with Jorge Macri; he ordered it. We had to clear the streets. The national protocol worked for us, but the work was done by the government and the city police," said the PRO leader in response to Manuel Adorni, who indicated in the 2025 Debate that the pickets in Buenos Aires City had ended due to the administrations of Patricia Bullrich and Sandra Pettovello.
