The Ministry of Information and Communications (MINTIC) expands enrollment in the AvanzaTEC program: free courses on AI, cybersecurity, and more.

The ICT Ministry announced the extension of the registration period for the AvanzaTEC program , a free digital skills training strategy, until May 30.
The measure responds to citizens' growing interest in improving their technological skills and the government's commitment to strengthening digital education in Colombia.
AvanzaTEC offers 100% virtual, free training aimed at preparing participants in key skills for the information technology industry.
To date, nearly 28,000 people have been certified in subjects such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, web development, data analysis, and programming, among others.

Those interested should visit the official website www.avanzatec.gov.co, select the Our Offers section , and choose their preferred course. Spaces are still available in most programs.
The call is open to Colombian citizens over 18 years of age, including students, professionals, entrepreneurs, single mothers, rural youth, and people in the process of reintegration. No specific prior knowledge is required to apply.
