Bogotá will recognize diverse and inclusive tourism at a gala event this Thursday: Everything you need to know

The Bogotá Belongs to Everyone Gala will be held at Theatron on July 10th at 8:00 pm. The ceremony will recognize individuals, organizations, and experiences that have made tourism in the capital a space of diversity, inclusion, and respect for differences.

The event will highlight initiatives that promote tourism and transform Bogotá into a city that welcomes the entire traveling community through specialized experiences.
Representatives from tourism industry associations, embassies, business leaders, operators, district cabinet secretaries, media outlets, content creators, and LGBTIQ+ groups are expected to participate in the event.

Awards will be given in five categories:
- Local Destination with Pride. This recognition will be given to community, neighborhood, or local leaders who promote diverse and safe tourism.
- Tourism Service Provider of the Year. The award will recognize the work of hotels, agencies, restaurants, and operators who have committed to inclusion in the city.
- Transformative narratives. Content creators, journalists, and communicators who highlight diversity will be recognized in this category.
- LGBTIQ+ Tourism Ambassador. It will be awarded to community leaders who position the city as a diverse space.
- A medium that inspires diversity. Aimed at media outlets and journalists who integrate inclusion approaches into their agenda.

Throughout the day, attendees will also enjoy artistic performances, live music , and a celebration with a resident DJ from Theatron.
