It will begin operating on December 4, 2025. This operation, the first to connect Los Cabos with Colombia and Latin America, is estimated to generate an annual flow of more than 25,000 tourists from Central and South America.
After North American territories, Colombia is one of the countries that brings the most visitors to Los Cabos. In 2024, more than 7,400 Colombians chose this destination, attracted by its luxury, nature, and wellness.
This flight will be operated with a Boeing 737-800 and will have three weekly flights on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It will also offer a strategic connection to more than 20 destinations in Central and South America via the airline's Hub of the Americas in Panama.

Maribel Collins, head of the Secretariat of Tourism and Economy (SETUE) of Baja California Sur, said this announcement is a step toward further strengthening international tourism in Mexico. “By facilitating access from key markets in Central and South America, we are boosting not only the arrival of visitors but also the economic development of our community and region,” she added.
According to official figures, the flow of passengers between Colombia and Panama is one of the most dynamic in Latin America, with nearly 500,000 travelers annually transiting between the two countries for business, tourism, and family travel.
The new route between Panama and Los Cabos is strategically integrated into this network, facilitating access for thousands of Colombian and South American travelers who already enjoy extensive connectivity with this region.
For his part, Rodrigo Esponda, General Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, emphasized that the arrival of this airline to the Mexican destination is strategic for attracting more travelers from Latin America to Los Cabos.

He also mentioned that this is the first time they have opened their doors to the Latin American market, a key decision to diversify their markets and continue increasing tourist arrivals from this region. "From Colombia alone, more than 7,000 travelers arrive in Los Cabos each year, and thanks to the high frequency of flights between Colombia and Panama, this connection significantly reduces travel times and facilitates access to our destination from one of the regions with the greatest potential for international tourism," he concluded.
The main source markets with the greatest potential for Los Cabos, in addition to Colombia, include Panama, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Peru, countries with a growing affinity for sun and beach destinations , wellness, and adventure.
