Latam announces the opening of seasonal routes to Aruba and Curaçao: when will they begin operating?

The launch of airline ticket sales between Bogotá and Aruba and Bogotá–Curaçao was announced this week by Latam Airlines Colombia. These new seasonal routes from Bogotá to these two Caribbean destinations are being added to its network to meet the high tourist demand during the holiday season.

The flights will operate between December 2025 and January 2026, with three weekly frequencies each. Specifically, the Bogotá–Aruba route will begin operations on December 1, 2025, while the Bogotá–Curaçao route will begin on December 2, 2025.
Both will be available until January 31, 2026. With these new routes, Latam strengthens its presence in the Caribbean and in the regional segment from Colombia , offering travelers new alternatives for their vacations.
Travelers originating in cities such as Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, and Quito will be able to access these Caribbean destinations with a connection in Bogotá on the same day.

"These routes reflect our commitment to continue connecting Colombia with the most desirable destinations in the region. Aruba and Curaçao are destinations that respond to the growing demand of Colombians for unique experiences in the Caribbean and, at the same time, allow us to continue consolidating Bogotá as an international connectivity hub," said Erika Zarante, CEO of Latam Airlines Colombia. The Bogotá–Aruba–Bogotá route will operate on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The flight will depart Bogotá at 10:10 a.m. and arrive in Aruba at 1:20 p.m. The return flight from Aruba will be at 2:35 p.m., arriving in Bogotá at 3:55 p.m.
In response, the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) celebrated the launch of this new direct connection: “ We are very excited about this new seasonal operation between Bogotá and Aruba , as it strengthens our strategy of connecting the happy island with the main markets of South America through the Bogotá hub. This route represents a great opportunity to continue positioning Aruba as a charming and desirable destination for Latin American travelers, contributing to our global strategy,” said Jordan Schlipken, Director of the Aruba Tourism Authority for Latin America.

Regarding the Bogotá–Curaçao–Bogotá flight, this will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. It departs from Bogotá at 10:10 a.m. and arrives in Curaçao at 1:30 p.m. The return flight from Curaçao will be at 2:40 p.m., arriving in Bogotá at 3:55 p.m.
“We are excited to announce this new direct connection between Bogotá and Curaçao with LATAM Airlines Colombia. This route represents a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the bond between Colombia and our island , allowing more travelers to discover the cultural, natural, and culinary riches that Curaçao has to offer,” said Muryad de Bruin, Managing Director, Curaçao Tourist Board.
Both routes will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft, and tickets are now available for purchase on the Latam website , its app, and certified travel agencies.
