Some residents of the commune of Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire woke up on Wednesday, July 9, without drinking water, due to a burst pipe.

An unpleasant surprise for some residents of the commune of Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire this Wednesday morning, July 9. There are problems with the distribution of drinking water in the commune. The village's upper reaches are mainly affected, particularly homes located near the Lardidie reservoir.

But it's not just the residents of Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire who are having difficulty accessing the blue gold; the supply problems are also affecting parts of the municipalities of Marsaneix, Église-Neuve-de-Vergt, and Breuilh. The cause is a break in the pipeline that feeds the Lardidie reservoir, as the municipality of Boulazac-Isle-Manoire explained on its Facebook page. Teams from the operator Agur are on site to repair the leak. Contacted, Agur hopes for a return to normal by early afternoon.
