Summer exhibitions: Sebastião Salgado, sublime nature

Last month, photography lost one of its greatest talents. Sebastião Salgado, who passed away on May 23, 2025, had traveled the world tirelessly to document human and environmental realities.
Made up of one hundred exceptional black and white photographs, taken during some thirty expeditions to the four corners of the world between 2004 and 2011, this exhibition is a tribute to nature, to the majesty and fragility of our planet around six themes which highlight the geophysical origins of the earth, its fauna, its first peoples and its first societies: Planet South, Sanctuaries, Africa, Nordic Spaces, Amazonia and Pantanal.
This incredibly powerful series immerses us in the most remote landscapes, revealing mountains, deserts, oceans, peoples, and animals that have escaped modern civilization. A wake-up call, a final awakening to our duty to preserve!
