The Choose France summit, which brings together foreign groups investing in France, was held at the Palace of Versailles on Monday, May 19. While France remains the most attractive country in Europe, the number of jobs created through investment lags behind its European neighbors.
It's become a ritual. Every year, Emmanuel Macron welcomes business leaders who have chosen to invest in France under the gilded roof of the Palace of Versailles, and on this occasion announces the amount of funding put on the table. For this eighth edition of the Choose France summit, on Monday, May 19, the Élysée Palace celebrated reaching a new record: €20 billion, to which was added €21 billion earmarked for artificial intelligence, the result of a previous summit on this topic in February. Since 2018, 178 projects have been announced for a total of €47 billion.
