Falling birth rate: French people invited to express their views in a citizen consultation

As part of a fact-finding mission on the causes and consequences of the declining birth rate, a citizen consultation has been launched on the National Assembly website. Its responses are intended to inform the work of MPs on the subject.

These questions, and a few others, are part of the citizen consultation underway since last week on the National Assembly website, aimed at gathering the views of the French on parenthood, their choices and expectations in this area, as well as their perceptions of related public policies. This questionnaire is being conducted as part of a fact-finding mission on the causes and consequences of the decline in the birth rate in France, led by the deputies.
