The Pollux team from Flayosc is reaping the results

Sports clubs are closing out their season with increasingly strong results. It's the turn of the French savate boxing club Team Pollux to take stock of the 2024-2025 season. Five French savate boxing fencers have qualified for the France Assauts finals. In the senior category: Zacharie Soulié in -75kg; Louis Lambert in -80kg. In the cadet category for the French Youth Championships: Aaron Brahic in +85kg. By beating all his opponents during the Open Paca in -75kg, senior Jason Vaccari earned his spot in the French Open finals. The same goes for Maïna Crisci, the gold medalist at the Open Paca in -56kg, thus qualifying for the French Open finals.
At the Paca selections, we will note the great performances of Thais Zaiter, junior in under 52kg, silver medal, and bronze medals for the seniors Fabien Aubry in under 65kg, Nicolas Caritay in under 70kg, Valentin Dalmasso in under 80kg.
Although Louis Lambert lost in the quarter-finals of the French Technical Championships in Paris, he still finished sixth among the best technicians in the under 80kg category. As for Zacharie Soulié, he unfortunately withdrew.
At the French Youth Championships in Albertville, Aaron Brahic, a cadet, took third place on the podium and won a fine bronze medal in his first year of competition.
Biggest club in VarAt the French Open Assaut in Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire), Maïna Crisci in the juniors and Jason Vaccari in the seniors, despite having won their 8th and quarter-final matches, lost by majority in the semi-finals.
At the South-East France Zone Championship in Aurillac, Nina Allais-Morena in the under-48kg category won the silver medal. Jules Angles, the first-place finisher in English boxing, was the departmental winner of the first-round challenges but lost in the Paca final. The club has just gained a new graduate in the person of Laurent Bonnemains, who has just obtained his English boxing provost. Laurent Lambert, president of this sports association, which has more than 150 members, can only be satisfied with the past season.
