Referendum 2025, turnout at 7.3% at 12: in Puglia it stops at 6.2%, Foggia black jersey

The national turnout recorded at 12:00 today, Sunday 8 June, for the five abrogative referendums on work and citizenship is 7.3%. In Puglia, participation stands at 6.2% , according to official data from the Ministry of the Interior, with some provinces below the regional threshold and others with more participation.
The lowest figure is recorded in the province of Foggia , at 4.58% , while the highest level is in Taranto with 7.40% , followed by Bari (7.07%) . The other provinces of Puglia record the following numbers: Barletta-Andria-Trani: 5.88%; Brindisi: 5.60%; Lecce: 5.61%
Polls will remain open today until 11pm , while on Monday 9 June voting will be open from 7am to 3pm , with the counting of votes starting immediately afterwards.
The referendum questions: work and citizenshipVoters are called to vote on five questions, each with its own ballot paper of a different color. Four concern labor law , one the path to obtaining Italian citizenship :

Jobs Act (green card): proposal to repeal the rules that limit the reinstatement of workers who have been unlawfully dismissed in companies with more than 15 employees.

Severance pay (orange card): Elimination of the maximum compensation cap for laid-off workers in small businesses.

Fixed-term contracts (grey card): reintroduction of the obligation to provide a reason for the employment contract in fixed-term contracts of less than 12 months.

Safety at work (red card): extension of liability for serious injuries also to clients in contracts.

Citizenship (yellow card): reduction from 10 to 5 years of the period of legal residence for the application of Italian citizenship by non-EU citizens.
For the result of each referendum to be valid, a quorum must be reached : at least 50% plus one of those entitled to vote must have gone to the polls.
