"We are working to strengthen Ukraine's air defense. We really need positive signals from the United States of America, specific signals on air defense. We are still waiting for a response to the offer to purchase systems that can help. Concrete signals, not words," noted the Ukrainian president, who at the end of April said that Ukraine would try to reach an agreement to purchase Patriot anti-missile systems from the United States. Zelensky then thanked the European countries: "We need to achieve results in the joint production of air defense systems and missiles for them. This is absolutely necessary for the whole of Europe," the president stressed.
