The regional elections in Calabria will be held on October 5th and 6th. This was announced by the vice president of the Calabria regional council, Filippo Pietropaolo , who signed the decree calling the vote. The decree was published in the official regional bulletin.

The regional elections in Calabria were called after the resignation of the president of the regional council Roberto Occhiuto .

Yesterday the Regional Council acknowledged the resignation formalized by the governor and the president of the assembly , Filippo Mancuso , dismissed the councilors and dissolved the assembly.
