Council of Ministers approves infrastructure decree, works on Strait bridge accelerate

The Infrastructure Decree Law has been approved by the Council of Ministers, the ministry underlines that it is "an urgent and strategic measure wanted by the Vice President of the Council and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, to strongly accelerate the construction of key infrastructures , optimize the management of public contracts, ensure the efficiency of the transport system and enhance the value of state property, in line with the objectives of the PNRR and European commitments".
Among the interventions are regulations regarding the bridge over the Strait , Milan-Cortina 2026, Formula 1 GP, public contracts, road haulage, civil motorization, motorway concessions, port regulations, maritime state property, air and rail transport.
The Government has allocated 5.25 million euros for 2025 and 5 million for each year from 2026 to 2032 in favor of the National Sports Federation-ACI for the organization of the Formula 1 Grand Prix that will take place at the racetracks of Monza (Lombardy) and Imola (Emilia-Romagna). According to Salvini "This strategic investment aims to guarantee the continuity and success of these iconic events, supporting the tourism industry and the image of our country in the global motorsport panorama. The measures adopted in favor of major sporting events also mean concretely supporting these territorial excellences".
