Matteo Gozzoli, mayor of Cesenatico, elected new secretary of the Pd Federation

Cesena, June 14, 2025 – Matteo Gozzoli , mayor of Cesenatico, was elected Secretary of the Federation of the Democratic Party with 87.62% of the votes, equal to 117 delegates to the territorial assembly. Alessandro Pilotti instead stands at 12.38%, equal to 18 delegates; then strong support also for Luigi Tosiani, sole candidate for the regional secretariat, with 96.75% of the votes in favor.

These are the results, after the conclusion of the 26 congress assemblies of Circolo , held between May 28 and June 13, 2025, with over 540 members who took part in the congress process and with 127 interventions in the debate. The Secretaries of the 26 Pd Circles of the Cesena area and the related Circle Boards were also elected .

The final phase of a process of discussion and participation for the Democratic Party of the Cesena Federation is now underway. The congress will officially end with the Federation Assembly, scheduled for Thursday 19 June at 8:45 pm at Palazzo Dolcini in Mercato Saraceno.

Over 540 members took part in the congress, with 127 interventions in the debate: a clear sign of a lively community, aware and ready to relate to the challenges of the present.
