Salvadori, Bolzano city councilor, suspends himself from FdI after the post on Goebbels

"I take note of the decision of the highest party bodies to verify my position regarding the social post for which I realized I have offended the sensibilities of many". Diego Salvadori , municipal councilor of Fratelli d'Italia in Bolzano , apologizes for the post regarding the display of the rainbow flag at the Noi Techpark in which he quotes the minister of propaganda of the Third Reich, Joseph Goebbels .

Salvadori continued: "I am ready to take responsibility for what happened, suspending myself from this moment on from all my roles in Fratelli d'Italia until the decision of the probiviri".

“For the same reasons I have also chosen to suspend my social media accounts,” adds the city councilor who, after the controversy raised for having cited Adolf Hitler ’s right-hand man, reiterates his “total and absolute non-involvement in any form of incitement to totalitarian regimes.”
