AKA - Accademia Karate Arezzo wins the Coppa Toscana Giovanissimi

Arezzo, June 11, 2025 – AKA - Accademia Karate Arezzo wins the Coppa Toscana Giovanissimi. The important youth karate event aimed at the Under6 to Under12 categories saw the triumph of the Arezzo company led by Masters Enzo Bertocci and Roberto Petrini who, with twenty-four athletes and a total of twenty-six medals, was the best overall in the region.
The event was organized by the Regional Committee of Tuscany - Karate Sector of FIJLKAM in the Florentine town of Certaldo with over two hundred boys and girls who tested themselves in various specialties such as Kumite - Combat, Kata - Forms, Course and Technical Balloon Game and, in this exceptional context, the AKA was the absolute protagonist with fourteen golds, three silvers and nine bronzes.
The satisfaction of winning a double gold in Kumite and Technical Balloon Game was experienced by Vittoria Farini, Adele Galletti, Marvin Jasari, Gregorio Passalacqua and Niccolò Zei, then to climb on the highest step of the podium were also Rayan Caneschi with the gold in the Balloon Game and the bronze in Kumite, and Denise Formichella, Cristian Nicchi and Riccardo Zei who all deserved the gold in Kumite and the bronze in the Technical Balloon Game.
The Coppa Toscana Giovanissimi also saw Massimo Bardazzi celebrate with the silver in the Technical Game of the Balloon and the bronze in the Kata, Davide Ercolani with the silver in the Kumite and the bronze in the Technical Game of the Balloon, Johan Geers with the silver in the Kumite, Elver Jasari with the silver in the Kumite, Francesco Rubechi with two bronzes in the Technical Game of the Balloon and in the Route, Tommaso Casamassima with the bronze in the Technical Game of the Balloon, Dylan Bartoli with the bronze in the Kumite and Filippo De Luca with the bronze in the Kumite.
In addition to the podium finishes, three fifth places, six seventh places and five eleventh places contributed to the final score, which made AKA the first club among twenty-one teams from all over the region.
The Arezzo team at the Coppa Toscana Giovanissimi also relied on the presence of Andrea De Coro as a match official who demonstrated seriousness and competence in refereeing, furthermore the participation in the event was supported by the sponsors ArezzoRecupera by Alessandro Nicchi, DLP Termoidraulica by Marco and Rossano Dini, Clean Tech Studio by Cesare Moretti and Panificio Fratelli Pierozzi.
