Como aims to make the Curva free within three years, drawing inspiration from the successful models of Fortuna Düsseldorf and Paris FC. The project balances popular access and economic sustainability, thanks to sponsorships, VIP lounges, and corporate offers.

At the stadium, in the stands, for free. It's more than a slogan: it's Como 's revolutionary vision, which within three years aims to offer free tickets to fans. President Mirwan Suwarso recently presented to La Provincia the plan that could transform the Sinigaglia stadium: "The goal within three years is to offer free access to the stands," he declared. A bold project, inspired by European examples such as Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany and Paris FC in France.
The German "Fortuna für alle" ("Fortuna for All") project, launched in 2023 by Fortuna Düsseldorf, has offered free tickets for several matches over the past few seasons (five in 2025/26). The numbers speak for themselves: 350,000 requests in the first year, 130,000 for a match against St. Pauli alone, and average attendance jumped from 29,420 in 2022/23 to over 41,000 in 2024/25. Not only that, revenues have grown, a sign that more spectators also mean more consumption, more sponsors, and more visibility.
In Paris, Paris FC (owned by Bernard Arnault, the head of LVMH) followed a similar path, introducing free admission to Ligue 2, doubling average attendance and creating a new connection with the city. Now, with its promotion to Ligue 1, it will maintain 10 percent of free tickets at its stadium.
Como draws direct inspiration from these experiences. But to achieve free admission, Suwarso warns, a self-sustaining economic model must first be built: "By expanding the package dedicated to companies and VIP lounges, we will soon be able to begin reducing the price of the most popular tickets. To get there, we must work towards self-sustaining. The VIP lounges and other initiatives are also tied to this project," he concluded.
