Foggia Calcio, the future remains in Nicola Canonico's hands

Grey smoke on the future of Foggia, the meeting at the City Hall with the top management of the Rossoneri club was interlocutory but the municipal administration is confident that by 6 June (the deadline to submit the application) the team will be regularly registered by its owner, Nicola Canonico, for the 2025/26 Serie C championship.

Almost two hours of discussion, yesterday evening, in the Council Hall of the Municipality. A table also expanded to include the participation of the Chamber of Commerce of Foggia and the foundation "La Capitanata per lo sport", represented respectively by the presidents Pino Di Carlo and Aristide Guerrasio. Representing Foggia were the sole administrator Michele Bitetto and Luca Veneziani in place of the judicial administrator Vincenzo Vito Chionna. The Daunia association has in fact been under anti-mafia protection by the judiciary for about ten days after the investigation that led to 4 arrests and 52 "out of context" Daspos for the attacks and intimidations suffered by the company in the last two years.
