Scarpinata del Fattucchio, the August 15th race

Pistoia, August 12, 2025 – The Scarpinata del Fattucchio returns, the classic Ferragosto (August 15th) race organized by the Pro Loco of Pian degli Ontani, with the technical collaboration of the ASDC Silvano Fedi. The start is set for 9:30 a.m. on the day of Ferragosto (August 15th) from Piazza dell'Acerone to Pian degli Ontani, in the Pistoia mountains. The event will be held under the auspices of the UISP Pistoia Committee. The program includes a competitive 11.5 km running race, with a shorter route for non-competitive athletes and walkers. The presence of the ASDC Silvano Fedi, a historic Pistoia association that promotes sporting events in the area, is particularly significant. Upon returning from vacation, on September 14th, it will also organize the traditional Biciclettata della Salute (Healthy Bicycle Ride). From 2009 to 2024, the group's initiatives raised over €100,000, all of which was donated to charity.
