The Italian beach volleyball championship starts from Caorle

A summer all about beach. The Federvolley organizational machine has officially started the engines in view of the start of the 2025 season dedicated to Italian beach volleyball. On Friday 13 June the dunking will begin in Caorle (Ve) and the first Fonzies Gold stage of the Italian Absolute Championship will officially begin.

The tricolor circuit, now in its 32nd edition, will be divided into several events, 9 in total, distributed throughout the national territory starting from next weekend and ending on September 7, the day in which the new Italian champions will be crowned in Bellaria Igea Marina (Rn). Both male and female.

This weekend's event in Caorle will pave the way for this new and eagerly awaited national event that will be covered by Rai Sport and live streamed by Rainews.it during the 'gold' stages.

Friday, June 13th will be the day dedicated to qualifications with 24 couples engaged on the sand for each draw, 6 teams will qualify for the main draw. Saturday 14th will get into the heart of the event with the matches of the main draw, characterized by 4 groups formed by 4 couples.

WOMEN 'S DRAWING In the women's tournament, the number one pair of the tournament will be the one composed of the Italian vice champions Sara Breidenbach and Chiara They; also starting from the main draw will be Federica Frasca and Alice Gradini, winners in the Caorle stage last year, Rachele Mancinelli and Eleonora Sestini, Giada Benazzi and Erika Ditta, Camilla Sanguigni and Sofia Balducci, Jessica Belliero Piccinin and Claudia Puccinelli, Eleonora Gili and Jessica Allegretti, Aurora Mattavelli and Margherita Tega and, finally, Eleonora Annibalini and Giulia Toti. Alessia Arienti and Francesca Caramaschi will instead have the right to the Wild Card, having won, on Sunday 25 May, the Under 20 category at the Finals of the Italian Championship for Companies in Bibione (VE).

MEN'S DRAWING The first three seeded couples in the main draw of the men's tournament were all formed this year: Tiziano Andreatta will be paired with Davide Benzi, Carlo Bonifazi will be in a duo with Raoul Acerbi, while Alex Ranghieri will take to the sand with Manuel Alfieri. Also starting from the seeding will be Tobia Marchetto and Davide Dal Molin, Mauro Sacripanti and Giacomo Titta, Giacomo Spadoni and Michele Luisetto, who came in second last year in the Caorle stage, Federico Geromin and Matteo Camozzi and Matteo Martino and Edgardo Ceccoli. To complete the main draw, Wild Cards were assigned to Jack Bernardini and Andrea Frinolli, winners of the Under 20 category at the Finals of the Italian Club Championship, and to Filippo Mancini and Riccardo Iervolino.
