Prato, 22 June 2025 – The 46th Scarpinata nel Verde di Figline is a milestone full of meaning: the arrival is located right under the beams where, during the last war, one of the most atrocious crimes in our history was perpetrated. A place that, today more than ever, in a world thirsty for peace, invites reflection. Running here is not just sport: it is memory, it is a warning, it is a commitment to ensure that similar tragedies never happen again. And the finish line of the 46th edition testifies to the importance of this now traditional event.
The event, organized by Asd 29 Martiri di Figline with the support of Uisp di Prato and the patronage of the Municipality and Province of Prato, proposed a competitive route of 13 km and a reduced route of 7 km for walkers and families. An opportunity open to all, to rediscover the pleasure of movement immersed in greenery. The race wound through enchanting landscapes, touching the village of Figline, crossing the suggestive Natural Sciences Center of Galceti, and climbing along the hills with challenging stretches until reaching “La Paleosa”.

From here, the view embraces a horizon that goes from Pistoia to Scandicci, before tackling a technical descent on a stony mule track. There were two refreshment points along the route, in addition to the large final refreshment point at the finish line, which warmly welcomed all participants.
