Alleged child abuser arrested at San Cosme market

Capital authorities captured a man accused of sexually assaulting a girl at the San Cosme Market .

This Tuesday, August 5, the Secretariat of Citizen Security reported that an arrest warrant was executed against Francisco "N," the alleged sexual aggressor of a four-year-old girl near the San Cosme Market in the Cuauhtémoc municipality .

In a statement, it was reported that as a result of investigative work and following up on various citizen complaints, police from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), in coordination with personnel from the Attorney General's Office (FGJ), executed the arrest warrant for the crime of aggravated sexual abuse.

By following up on the investigations, solid and sufficient evidence was obtained to corroborate the participation of the accused in an event of sexual harassment and abuse , for which reason, they were handed over by a Public Ministry agent to a Control Judge of the Accusatory Criminal Procedural System who issued the court order .

Thus, the SSC officers and the FGJ agents went to the Eastern Men's Preventive Prison where they located the 47-year-old man, who was informed of the arrest warrant against him , informed him of his constitutional rights, and placed at the disposal of the authority that requires him.
