Government subsidizes essential fuels with RD$183.8 million
For the week of July 19-25, 2025, the Dominican government will allocate 183.8 million pesos in subsidies to keep essential fuel prices stable for Dominican households and productive sectors.
During the designated week, liquefied petroleum gas ( LPG ) will be subsidized at 8.93 pesos per gallon, regular diesel at 14.72 pesos, and premium diesel at 14.16 pesos.
Fuel pricesFor the week of July 19-25, 2025, fuels will be sold at the following prices:
- Premium gasoline will sell for 290.10 pesos per gallon; its price remains unchanged.
- Regular gasoline , 272.50 pesos per gallon; price remains unchanged.
- Regular diesel , 224.80 pesos per gallon; price remains unchanged.
- Premium diesel , 242.10 pesos per gallon; price remains unchanged.
- Avtur , 193.01 pesos per gallon; up 1.44 pesos.
- Kerosene , 224.30 pesos per gallon; up 1.50 pesos.
- Fuel oil #6 , 158.83 pesos per gallon; up 2.22 pesos.
- Fuel oil 1%S , 170.29 pesos per gallon; up 2.57 pesos.
- Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) , 137.20 pesos per gallon; price remains unchanged.
- Natural gas , 43.97 pesos per m3; price remains unchanged.
The average weekly exchange rate is 60.56 pesos, according to the Central Bank's daily publications.
