Kirchnerist activists called for a sit-in in front of the courts in support of Cristina Kirchner.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Kirchnerist groups began gathering in front of the Palace of Justice . The protest's objective was to express their support for Cristina Kirchner and reject the ruling upheld by the Supreme Court. The gathering took the form of a night vigil, with the intention of remaining there throughout the night , despite the restrictions imposed by the Buenos Aires government.
Among the organizations present were HIJOS, Patria Grande, and several unions. The call was spread on social media under slogans such as "Let's go to the Courts. For Cristina. For democracy." However, the Ministry of Security prevented the installation of chemical toilets, tents, or gazebos, and also prohibited roadblocks.
Despite these limitations, a group of activists remained at the scene with backpacks, blankets, and signs. The City Police deployed an early operation and seized some items that would be used for street vending. Although the formal encampment was blocked, the vigil continued with a sustained presence.
The ruling that sentenced Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to six years in prison and permanently barred her from holding public office provoked a strong political backlash from various sectors of the ruling party.

The day also included disruptions to the main access roads to the capital: the Buenos Aires-La Plata Highway, the Western Access Highway, and the Pan-American Highway. At the same time, a protest took place in front of the former president's home in the Constitución neighborhood, where activists are holding a permanent vigil in support of Cristina Kirchner .
At the intersection of San José and Humberto I, protesters hung banners, chanted songs, and gathered around improvised bonfires. Despite the low temperatures, support has been sustained since the ruling was announced.
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court upheld the conviction for fraudulent administration to the detriment of the State. It ordered Cristina Kirchner to voluntarily report to Comodoro Py within five days. Failure to do so could result in her being transferred by law enforcement.
The National Electoral Chamber will be responsible for formalizing her disqualification, which will prevent her from participating in future elections. Thus, Cristina Kirchner is out of the running , even if the elections are held early, ruling out her possible candidacy in the province of Buenos Aires.
The ruling provoked diverse reactions across the political spectrum, even among those closest to Javier Milei , who until now has avoided commenting publicly on the sentence.
