It was Friday, June 27, before noon, when Stara Wieś, less than 4 km from Limanowa, was swarming with services.

There was a huge tragedy there. Two young people were shot dead, a young couple: 26-year-old Justyna W. and her 31-year-old husband Zbigniew. The couple left behind a tiny daughter, one-year-old Pola. A 73-year-old woman was also seriously injured. The drama took place in two places. In the 73-year-old's apartment, and then in front of the house and in the young couple's house.

Investigators have no doubt that the perpetrator of the murder is 57-year-old Tadeusz Duda. He is the father of a young woman and the husband of an older one. A large-scale search for the man has begun. Five hundred police officers from all over Poland have been involved in the operation. So far, he has not been found.
