AZS Politechnika Rzeszów with silver AMP

The final of the Polish Academic Handball Championship for women and men took place from 14 to 17 June this year in Warsaw. The Podkarpackie Province was represented by the men's team of AZS Politechniki Rzeszowska, consisting of handball players who normally play in first-league clubs - SPR Orzeł Przeworsk and SRS NIKO Przemyśl, as well as second-league UKS Juvenia Rzeszów. After very good competition, the Rzeszów academics won two silver medals - in the general classification and in the so-called types of higher education institutions (technical universities).
As we have already mentioned, half of the 20-person team were handball players from SPR Orzeła Przeworsk and SRS NIKO Przemyśl. From the first team: Jakub Curzytek, Kacper Bednarz, Klaudiusz Kasprzyk, Kamil Guzdek, Franciszek Wlazło and Jakub Pogonowski, from the second: Adam Iwasieczko, Kacper Kielar, Maciej Wrześniowski and Karol Kroczek.
The other silver medalists of the AMP are: Szymon Wajda (Pałac Młodzieży Tarnów), Szymon Błaż, Jan Fiedeń, Kacper Saj, Norbert Bułdys, Michał Ulak, Paweł Kozioł, Jakub Kosek (all UKS Juvenia Rzeszów), Paweł Styk and Michał Opaliński. The team's coach is Mateusz Jamrozek.
