County councillors unanimous on discharge

The councilors' vote, which ended with a unanimous "yes", was preceded by the presentation by the Jarosław district governor Kamil Dziukiewicz of information on the board's work in the intersession period and the most important decisions and current matters concerning the functioning of the district self-government unit. Later, the councilors began the procedure of granting the board a vote of confidence for the previous year, having previously familiarized themselves with the report on the state of the Jarosław district for 2024, which is as many as 177 pages long. The most important issues arising from the document were discussed by the district governor Kamil Dziukiewicz.

The financial report on the implementation of the budget together with the financial report for the previous year, as well as a positive opinion of the Regional Chamber of Audit in Rzeszów were presented by the treasurer of the district Agnieszka Mroczka, and the positive opinion of the Audit Committee at the Jarosław District Council was given by its chairman, councillor Jerzy Batycki. During the discharge session, detailed financial data regarding the district's income and expenditure were also presented. Initially, the planned income amounted to over PLN 294 million, however, after introducing changes, the budget finally closed with the plan at the level of PLN 335 million. The implementation of income at the end of the year amounted to almost PLN 316.6 million, which is 94.48 percent of implementation.

Finally, the councilors unanimously granted discharge to the Jarosław County Board for the implementation of the budget for the past year. Starosta K. Dziukiewicz thanked for this decision and unanimity in a short speech.

The June session of the Jarosław County Council was also an opportunity to sum up the annual work of the local government and present plans for the coming months.
