Another edition of the Inna Bajka Festival organized by the Kana Theater Center has begun. It will last until Sunday, June 29. The program includes many attractions for participants - first and foremost, shows of various street, alternative artistic forms at a high level.
The festival began on Friday (June 27). Viewers could see the "Big Show" by the Kompania Marzeń Theatre and the Zodiak Circus, the play "Flender Jetzt!" by Fabian Flender, the opening of the "Legends of Kai Renkas", the concert "Niesamowita Sprawa", and also take part in a silent disco. Saturday's events began with the play of the Antigravity Scenes, but the most attractions were planned in the Neighborhood Borderland in the Stefan Żeromski Park.
- We are here from 12 to 3 p.m. We have a lot of amazing workshops, we have stamp printing, carpentry classes, capoeira, we also have a field game and many, many other things - says Katarzyna Ansen, promotion specialist of the Kana Theatre Centre. - There is also Mr. Bartłomiej Orłowski's ukulele, cyanotopia, where we wholeheartedly invite all the residents of Szczecin.
In the Neighbourhood Border Town there are artists and animators from Poland and Germany, among them: Klex (stamp printing), Woodpecker Zone (carpentry) - Marta Król LoveLasy, Holiday Senso-Adventure - Rozwojownia Ada Stefańska, Music Making for Parents with Toddlers - Dolls Tosia Janczak, Cyanotype - Aunt Paprotka, Ukulele - Akukulele Bartłomiej Orłowski, Pottery Circle - Maciej Tumanowicz, Gruppo de Capoeira Angola (capoeira), 30 Eyelets to the Treasure (field game) - ArtVentura Irmina Łachacz, Cyanotype - Aunt Paprotka, Circus Zone - Frik Art and Circus Academy - Antigrawitacja Foundation.
- The Inna Bajka Festival is an alternative form of art. It is a combination of theatre and circus art, but of the highest calibre. We have artists from all over Europe, from Great Britain, from Italy, from Spain, from Sweden. We would like to encourage the residents of Szczecin to get to know the entire art of circus and theatre - explains Katarzyna Ansen.
The attractions prepared delighted the youngest the most. There were queues for circus games, soap bubbles or carpentry workshops. There was no shortage of people willing to try acrobatics or other circus tricks. Today, at 5:00 p.m., La Bella Tour will perform in Żeromski Park - an acting duo referring to the tradition of clowning and the figure of the jester as a universal cultural symbol. Their performance tells the story of an abandoned circus, once full of magic, acrobats, lion tamers. Currently, only a pair of clowns remain, who try to save their heritage and make up for the chaos and transience that creeps in there with their funny/sad performances.
Earlier, at 3:30 p.m., the show "Boato!" by Andrea Mineo from Italy will take place at Solidarności Square. At 6:30 p.m., the concert "A ja nie chce śpi" by artist Ania Broda and her band will begin at the Kana Theater. At 8:30 p.m., the show "StOïK" by Les GüMs (France) will take place at the Pleciuga Puppet Theater, at 10:00 p.m., a percussion and dance performance at the Kany Meadow, and at 10:30 p.m., Open Stage Share Fire at the Kany Meadow, i.e. fire shows.
The Neighborhood Borderland Town in Stefan Żeromski Park will also take place on Sunday (June 29) from 12:00 to 15:00. The entire festival program is available at https://www.kana.art.pl. ©℗
