JKS won in Krosno! There could have been euphoria, but there is still anger. The green table champion – with promotion to the third league – will be Sokół Kolbuszowa Dolna

We forgot that it was not the green turf in the 2024-2025 season that decided who would play in the upper echelon. It was the green table (perhaps because we do not know at which color the decisions were made) of the Games Department of the Podkarpackie Football Association in Rzeszów that decided it. Many months of effort, considerable financial outlays, very good communication, effort and sweat, put into the 33 matches played, can be put in their place. The walkovers, which were first granted, then suspended, were brought back to life and upheld. Despite the initial desires of the Karpaty and Cosmos activists to appeal these absurd decisions, they were dissuaded and did not appeal! The case was "beautifully" closed. In this way, the green table champion of the 2024-2025 season of the 4th Podkarpackie League will be Sokół Kolbuszowa Dolna. Because they are not the winner on the pitch, at the end of the league they would probably lose two points to JKS. Let us repeat once again: this is a huge scandal that should not go unnoticed by the Polish Football Association. It should not, but it will and everyone knows it perfectly well. JKS Jarosław will remain fighting in two-stage play-offs for promotion to the third league. In the first stage they will face (99 percent) away with Glinik Gorlice, and in the decisive one (also away) with the winner of the match Lublinianka Lublin - Naprzód Jędrzejów.

The other two teams from our region won one point in the 33rd round. Sokół Sieniawa did not "help" Orł Przeworsk (which was not really possible) and lost at home to Czarni 1910 Jasło, conceding two goals in... the 90th and 93rd minute of the match. And since Izolator Boguchwała did the same, losing in the home match to Legion Pilzno, Łukasz Cabaj's team - despite a good end to the season - said goodbye to the 4th Subcarpathian league after a season of playing in it. Perhaps they would have had a shadow of a chance, but they were unable to win in Zaczernie against Głogovia Głogów Małopolski.
