The aim of the event is not only to present the artistic and culinary achievements of local communities, but also to truly maintain intergenerational ties with folk culture – the one passed on in songs, flavours and gestures of everyday life from years ago. In the culinary competition, after tasting the products presented by the women's associations from 9 stands, the committee chaired by Elżbieta Dudek-Młynarska awarded first place to the Women's Association in Zagórze, second to the Women's Association in Widaczów and third to the Women's Association in Jawornik Polski. Distinctions went to the associations and societies in Hadle Szklarskie, Hucisko Jawornicki, Jawornik Przedmieście, Matysówka, Słonne and Morawsko.
