President's plane stuck in Singapore. New information

President Andrzej Duda will depart from Singapore in the next few hours, the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland has announced. As Polsat News has learned, an alternative route to Poland has been determined. The return flight has been delayed due to the situation in the Middle East.

The plane with President Andrzej Duda on board was originally scheduled to take off from Singapore Airport on Friday between 5pm and 6pm local time (between 11am and 12pm Polish time).

However, the president's office announced on Friday that due to the international situation in the Middle East and the need to change the route, the flight was delayed.

Polsat News journalist Grzegorz Urbanek determined that an alternative route back to Poland had been determined, and the flight is to take place within a few hours. For security reasons, no detailed information will be provided, such as take-off time or stopover locations.

The President's Office also announced that the new flight route of the plane with the President on board will not be made public.

President Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda have been in Southeast Asia since Monday. The presidential couple visited Malaysia and Singapore . Duda met with, among others, the most important politicians of both countries and took part in the opening of the Poland-Singapore Business Forum.
