The State Fire Service summed up on social media that on Thursday, June 26, there were 1,171 interventions caused by storms throughout the country. The largest number of incidents related to removing the effects of the passage of the atmospheric front took place in the following provinces: Wielkopolska - 432, Lubuskie - 168, Zachodniopomorskie - 166, Śląskie - 92 and Dolnośląskie - 90.

In Wielkopolska, 148 incidents occurred in Poznań, 59 in Grodzisk district, and 48 in Nowy Tomyśl district. Firefighters also received 20 reports of damage to residential and farm buildings. Most of them concerned torn-off elements of the facade and breaches of the roof structure.

As a result of the incident, a 19-year-old woman was injured. Another 125 incidents took place from midnight on Friday to 6:00 a.m. 57 interventions took place in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, and the rest were scattered mainly in regions affected by earlier storms.
