The State Fire Service summed up on social media that on Thursday, June 26, there were 1,171 interventions caused by storms throughout the country. The largest number of incidents related to removing the effects of the passage of the atmospheric front took place in the following provinces: Wielkopolska - 432, Lubuskie - 168, Zachodniopomorskie - 166, Śląskie - 92 and Dolnośląskie - 90.

In Wielkopolska, 148 incidents occurred in Poznań, 59 in Grodzisk district, and 48 in Nowy Tomyśl district. Firefighters also received 20 reports of damage to residential and farm buildings. Most of them concerned torn-off elements of the facade and breaches of the roof structure.

The press spokesman for the Chief Commandant of the State Fire Service, Senior Brigadier Karol Kierzkowski, in his report on the operations, emphasized that the operations of the State and Volunteer Fire Service units consisted mainly of removing fallen trees from roads, tracks, power lines and buildings; securing damaged buildings; pumping water from flooded basements and roads and unclogging culverts and storm sewer systems.

As for characteristic incidents, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the town of Cedynia, at Pułaskiego Street, at 7:13 p.m., a tree blown over by strong winds fell onto a restaurant. As a result of the incident, a 19-year-old woman was injured. Another 125 incidents took place from midnight on Friday to 6:00 a.m. 57 interventions took place in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, and the rest were scattered mainly in regions affected by earlier storms.

RMF FM reported that after a storm that passed over Mazovia, there was a failure of rail traffic control devices. Train traffic was suspended, including all Koleje Mazowieckie and Szybka Kolej Miejska trains running through Warszawa Praga station. On Friday before 7 a.m., the problem affected almost 30 routes. Some trains are even delayed by several dozen minutes. PKP reported that PKP Intercity and Koleje Mazowieckie tickets are mutually honored throughout the entire area of ​​train operation.
