The walking trails in Zniesienie have regained their former glory. The city also has a preliminary idea for a vineyard [PHOTOS]

The renovation of the wooden steps and walkways on Zniesienie is a project that residents have been eagerly awaiting. When the weather is nice, the area is full of walkers, and tourists visiting the city also enjoy visiting. It's therefore worthwhile for this place to be a true landmark, which unfortunately hasn't been the case recently. Fortunately, this is slowly changing, thanks to the implementation of a larger project entitled "Development of the Historic Complex of the Przemyśl Fortress for Cultural Tourism Purposes, Phase III." The investor for the work on Zniesienie is the Association of Fortress Municipalities of the Przemyśl Fortress. The work is being carried out thanks to funding from the Polish Government Fund: Strategic Investment Program.

According to information from the city hall, work is scheduled to continue until June of next year (including new plantings), and the Association of Municipalities has allocated PLN 3,998,400 for the entire project. It's important to remember, however, that this considerable sum also includes work in other municipalities: Przemyśl (Fort VIII Łętownia, Fort III Łuczyce), Orły (Fort XI "Duńkowiczki"), Medyka (Fort XV "Borek", Fort I "Salis Soglio")...
