There is no space, but only two companies operate

The history of the Przemyśl economic subzone may not be turbulent, but it is full of twists and turns. It cannot compare in any way to the one in Zadąbrowie, Orły commune. For several years of its existence, it stood empty. It was established in 2006 on 37 hectares of investment land. The then-zoning plan envisaged the construction of facilities with functions including industrial, manufacturing, processing and services, energy production, agricultural and horticultural production, storage, services, trade, and similar functions. In 2012, there was virtually no interest in the subzone. The only company that decided to buy the land was "REM 2." Currently, it is "Hensfort," a window manufacturer. That same year, the development land was developed. The city spent over PLN 20 million on this project from the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Regional Operational Program and its own budget. Approximately 4 km of roads were constructed, with full drainage, lighting, water supply, and sewer systems. The number of interested parties was still low.

The then Przemyśl authorities believed that entrepreneurs were waiting for further tenders and a reduction in land prices. At the time, a hectare in the zone cost 350,000 PLN. In December 2015, Przemyśl councilors passed a resolution to expand the subzone. It increased by almost 56 hectares...
