Salaries are in the tens of thousands. Poles wanted

As reported by the "WP Finanse" portal, Polish electricians can earn a lot if they decide to go abroad. Offers from three countries dominate:
- German,
- Norway,
- Switzerland.
In Germany, you can earn from a dozen to even 30 thousand PLN gross (i.e. about 7 thousand euro).
These are mainly advertisements for electricians with experience in construction and industry. Also sought are so-called foremen with electrical skills to take care of hotels, for example - the portal reports.
As for Switzerland, a novice electrician can earn around 4,300 francs, or around PLN 20,000 per month. More experienced specialists can earn up to PLN 34,000.
What about Norway? One company there offers up to PLN 23,000 gross per month. "In addition to an attractive salary, the employer provides free accommodation, a company car and travel expenses reimbursement," we read.
Mateusz Żydek from the Randstad employment agency said in an interview with "WP Finanse" that a certain change can be seen in the travel and work preferences of Poles.
Short-term departures, including seasonal ones, still occur, but they are becoming less frequent. Foreign employers are noticing that Poles are no longer as willing to leave for a short time, regardless of whether it is for agriculture or production, he noted.
In addition, Poland is no longer looking for cheap labour, but rather for specialists in the construction industry: roofers or electricians. - There is also a large demand for specialists in the automotive sector - painters, mechanics, and in the electrical industry - installation, maintenance of advanced devices. In some sectors, the differences in wages between Poland and the West are still clear, especially in technical professions - the expert emphasised.
