This is how much money emigrants sent to Poland. Most from Germany

Transfers to Poland from emigrants in the first quarter of 2025 amounted to PLN 4.8 billion, the same as in the same quarter of the previous year - the National Bank of Poland reported in the full balance of payments for the first quarter.
"In the first quarter of 2025, PLN 4.8 billion came to the country as a result of Poles working abroad. This amount consisted of transfers from short-term migrants in the amount of PLN 1.9 billion (i.e. 40.1% of all transfers) and from long-term migrants in the amount of PLN 2.8 billion (i.e. 59.9% of the total amount). Compared to the same period of the previous year, the total amount of funds transferred did not change," it was written.
Geographically, there was a slight decrease in funds sent to Poland from Germany, but this was compensated by slight increases in other countries.
Germany has consistently remained the country with the highest value of remittances. In Q1 2025, Poles working there transferred PLN 2.1 billion to the country. In second place was Great Britain , from which PLN 0.6 billion flowed to Poland. In total, remittances from these two countries accounted for 56.3% of all transfers.

"In the first quarter of 2025, funds transferred abroad by foreigners working in Poland amounted to PLN 5.6 billion. This amount was PLN 0.3 billion lower compared to the same period last year. The main reason for this decrease was the decreasing total sum of salaries of seasonal and border workers," it was written.
Transfers from short-term immigrants in the first quarter of 2025 amounted to PLN 2.6 billion compared to PLN 3.5 billion in the first quarter of 2024.
The geographical structure was still dominated by transfers to Ukraine. They amounted to PLN 3.0 billion and constituted 53.3 percent of all funds. Funds transferred to other countries neighboring Poland also grew, most notably to Belarus. (PAP Biznes)
