UniCredit issues 12-year bonds worth EUR 1 billion

Italian bank UniCredit has issued 12-year bonds worth 1 billion euros, UniCredit said in a statement. The issue includes bonds with a fixed interest rate of 4.175 percent per year until June 2032, sold at 99.928 percent of their nominal value.
As reported by UniCredit, the issue was met with very strong demand from around 200 institutional investors, and the total value of their subscriptions reached over EUR 3.4 billion.
The final allocation of bonds meant that 67% of the offer went to investment funds. Geographically, investors from Great Britain and France will each take up 33% of the offered securities, while 9% of the offer will go to the Germany/Austria/Switzerland region.
UniCredit Bank GmbH acted as sole global coordinator and joint bookrunner together with Barclays, HSBC, ING, Mediobanca, Santander, SocGen and Toronto Dominion.
The bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. (PAP Biznes)
