Lightweight sneakers for summer? Nike "serves" a coffee version of the iconic model

How to combine the world's most popular drink and sport? The best way is with sneakers. Nike combines the energy of running with the aroma of coffee, serving up a new version of the iconic Pegasus 41 model.
In the summer season of 2025, Nike decided to "serve" sneakers for lovers of running and... coffee . This time, the brand reaches for inspiration from the most popular drink in the world - coffee - and weaves its aromatic notes into the silhouette of a shoe that has been accompanying runners and trendsetters around the world for decades. Here is the Pegasus 41 in the coffee colorway "Desert Ochre".

The aesthetics of the Desert Ochre model take us straight to the interior of your favorite coffee shop. The colors: Soft Pearl, Desert Ochre, Fauna Brown and Velvet Brown evoke associations with latte macchiato , Arabica beans and milk foam.

The upper is designed in a light gradient, reminiscent of cream in a cup of freshly brewed coffee . The ReactX foam midsole is decorated with subtle speckles, reminiscent of ground coffee beans .

As usual, Nike has taken care of every detail. The sneakers are packaged in a packaging resembling a bag of coffee beans , with the words "Roasted by Nike, Inc."
Nike's new Pegasus will give you more energy than your morning coffeeIn addition to its stunning appearance, the Pegasus 41 Desert Ochre offers full capabilities as a running sneaker . Advanced Zoom Air technology combined with new ReactX foam provides springiness, softness and support with every step. The mesh upper ensures ventilation even on the warmest days, and the ergonomic design was created with long-distance runners in mind.

The model will debut in summer 2025 on Nike.com and in select boutiques for $150.
Pegasus Coffee – an accidental Nike inspiration? The name Pegasus is no stranger to coffee lovers. Coincidence? Or perhaps a subtle play on context? Pegasus is also the name of the legendary Seattle-based roastery Pegasus Coffee – one of the first to introduce the European coffeehouse style to the US. Its founder, David Dessinger, began by roasting beans on his own boat before creating a cult coffeehouse that today stands as a symbol of quality and an artisanal approach to taste.
It is possible that NIKE, consciously or not, has captured not only the aroma of coffee, but also the spirit of a place where style, taste and passion come together in a perfect blend.
